Croatia midfielder Ivan Rakitic admits “a draw would be a good result” against Italy in tomorrow’s Euro 2016 qualifier.

The match is due to kick off at San Siro on Sunday at 19.45 GMT, although there are concerns after flash floods and torrential rain in Milan.

“Of course we always want to win, but we are also aware of the circumstances and in that case a draw would be a good result,” said Barcelona’s Rakitic.

“It is obvious that Italy are the favourites in this fixture. Even if Germany were coming here tomorrow, Italy would still be the favourites to get the victory.”

So far both the Azzurri and Croatia have won all three of their qualifiers.
