Agent Mino Raiola said Milan goalkeeper Gigio Donnarumma is ‘not the one he was four years ago’ and claimed Zlatan Ibrahimovic ‘is the most complete player in history of football’.

In an interview with Tuttosport, Raiola was asked about the contract renewal of Donnarumma at the Rossoneri, as the Italy international’s current deal expires in June 2021.

Donnarumma signed his last deal in 2017, weeks after controversially having turned down the initial offer, and Raiola doesn’t want it to become a ‘media renewal’ like last time.

“He’s a Milan player at the moment, then we’ll see,” Raiola told Tuttosport. “For sure, Gigio is no longer the one he was four years ago and there are many who ask about him.

“But I’ll stop here. I don’t want that it becomes a media renewal like last time.”

Raiola spoke of tonight’s duel between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi and said he would pick the Portuguese over the Argentine.

But he added that Milan forward Ibrahimovic would have won ‘eight Ballon d’Or’ if the public had voted and said the Swede ‘is from another planet in his own right’.

“I immediately say that between Cristiano Ronaldo, of whom I’m a big fan, and Messi, I’ll always pick the Portuguese,” Raiola continued.

“Zlatan, on the other hand, is from another planet in his own right. He is the most complete player ever in the history of football.

“He has the talent of Messi and the willpower of CR7. If the Ballon d’Or had been voted for by the public, I know he would have won eight.”
