Raiola pushing Donnarumma to Liverpool

Gianluigi Donnarumma’s Milan future remains uncertain, as Tuttosport claim Liverpool were told €40m would be enough.

The 19-year-old goalkeeper is expected to take over as Italy’s first choice shot-stopper after Gigi Buffon pulled away from the Nazionale.

His rapport with the Rossoneri fans is increasingly tense and he is often jeered at San Siro.

According to Tuttosport, agent Mino Raiola has given up trying to sell Donnarumma to Paris Saint-Germain and is now turning his focus towards Liverpool.

His rapport with the Rossoneri fans is increasingly tense and he is often jeered at San Siro.

According to Tuttosport, agent Mino Raiola has given up trying to sell Donnarumma to Paris Saint-Germain and is now turning his focus towards Liverpool.

While Milan wanted €60-70m for him, it’s reported Raiola told Liverpool that €40m would be sufficient to snatch a deal.

Even then, the Champions League finalists are seemingly unconvinced after a series of Donnarumma errors in the final weeks of the season.

If Milan are excluded from Europe due to Financial Fair Play problems, then Donnarumma would be the favourite to leave, as he came up through the youth academy and a sale would count as pure profit.

They already have a replacement, having signed Pepe Reina as a free agent when his Napoli contract expired.
