Agent Mino Raiola confirms Paul Pogba ‘is staying at Manchester United,’ Federico Bernardeschi wants to remain at Juventus and Andrea Pirlo could become a better coach than Pep Guardiola.
The representative spoke to Sky Sport Italia about several of his players, including perhaps the one in the most headlines, Pogba.
“Pogba is staying at Manchester United and I think they are trying to extend his contract. We’ll discuss that soon, no stress,” said Raiola.

“Pogba is staying at Manchester United and I think they are trying to extend his contract. We’ll discuss that soon, no stress,” said Raiola.
“Manchester United have a project and he is 100 per cent a part of that. They won’t accept any offer for Pogba this summer.”
There were suggestions Bernardeschi would be used as part of an exchange deal with Manchester United for Pogba, or with Napoli for Arkadiusz Milik.
“Federico is well aware of what he wants to do, that his career starts here, it doesn’t end here. He can comfortably play for Juve, but if there are better conditions available for all concerned, then we will evaluate those situations together.
“I think that Juve are still relying on him. It’s a challenge that he wants to win at Juve. Matthijs de Ligt needs time now, he has had surgery on his shoulder and I think Juve have a real treasure for the future. He is like a new Rembrandt in Holland.”
There is a new coach at Juventus, Andrea Pirlo, who is in his first ever managerial role.
“It was a pleasant surprise and a spectacular move, even revolutionary. I don’t know if he’ll be the right coach for this team, but if Pirlo makes the team play the way he did, Pep Guardiola will have to start hiding! Nobody can discuss the player that Pirlo was.”
Another Raiola client is Giacomo Bonaventura, who is a free agent after his contract with Milan expired.
“He has several offers, is closer to two clubs than any others, and I think he’ll decide over the next couple of days.”
