The Italian international has been linked with a summer exit after his latest red card for City during their defeat at Arsenal.

Milan and Inter have been paired with his signature, but the centre-forward’s agent says no move is on the horizon.

“I’ve spoken to Mario and City boss Roberto Mancini,” the representative told Sky Sport Italia. “There was a moment of tension, but all is calm now.

“Mario has understood his errors, but he’s a special player in every sense and sometimes he makes mistakes by accident.

“He misses Italy, that is normal, but he has always said that he is happy in Manchester and City have no intention of selling him. They want to continue growing together.

“When Mario decides to return to Italy there will be a great derby between Milan and Inter, but now is not the time. That will have to perhaps wait for a year or two.”

Raiola was also asked for his opinion on another of his clients, Pogba, the French teenager who Juventus have made an offer for.

“The boy has a difficult decision to make,” Raiola continued. “He’ll either stay at United or join Juventus – they are his options.

“It’s an important decision that could decide a career and it is a decision that has to be taken with calmness.

“United believe in him and they want to renew his contract, but it will depend a lot on the desire of the player.”
