According to RMC Sport, a deal between Balotelli and Les Aiglons is very close, with the forward having met the President, Jean-Pierre Rivère.
However, the outlet got in contact with SuperMario’s agent, who has warned that a deal between the clubs is proving more difficult.
“There’s no agreement between the clubs and no medical today,” Raiola insisted.
The stumbling block is likely to be the the wage contribution Nice would have to make, as they couldn’t pay Balotelli’s salary alone.
Palermo were also interested in Balotelli, who was born in the city, but that deal appears to have collapsed.
