Pogba has been in an increasingly tense battle of wills with Coach Jose Mourinho and there are reports the former Inter tactician could be sacked as early as this weekend.

“I prefer not to talk about Pogba right now,” agent Raiola told Rai Sport.

“It’s a delicate moment, as everyone knows. Manchester United have in any case been very clear with everyone: Pogba is not on the market.”

Juve have been repeatedly linked with a return for Pogba, but the Bianconeri’s strategy was shaken up when CEO Beppe Marotta announced his departure.

Even more surprising, Marotta confirmed it was a decision made by the club and not his own choice to walk away.

“That was a surprise for everyone,” added Raiola. “What happens behind closed doors at a club like Juve never completely comes out in the open.

“You’ve got to give credit to Marotta for the work he did, as he took charge when Juventus were in one of the worst periods of their history.

“In football you do need the strength to renew and innovate, both on the field and off it.”
