Raggi: ‘Ranieri perfect for Italy’

Monaco defender Andrea Raggi believes Claudio Ranieri would be “the ideal profile” for the role of Italy CT.

The Azzurri are currently without a Coach after Giampiero Ventura was sacked, and FIGC President Carlo Tavecchio angrily announced his resignation yesterday.

Ranieri has been touted as potential candidate for the Italy job, and Raggi, who worked with him at Monaco, thinks he’d be ideal.

“He has the ideal profile,” the centre-back told Gazzetta dello Sport’s Extra Time supplement.
