Verona’s Rafael and Genoa’s Leonardo Pavoletti have both been given a three-match ban for their respective red cards over the weekend.

The Butei goalkeeper was dismissed during the defeat to Frosinone for an elbow on Luca Paganini, and will miss the next three fixtures for “deliberately striking an opponent with an elbow to the head”.

Similarly, Pavoletti has been given the same ban for “deliberately striking” Riccardo Gagliolo with “an elbow to the face” with “the ball not in playing distance”.
