Milan star Rafael Leao has no hard feelings towards his teammate Christian Pulisic who ‘stole’ his goal in a Europa League game against Slavia Praha on Thursday.

Pulisic got his name on the scoresheet last night by touching a ball coming from a Rafael Leao chip shot just before it crossed the line.

“I wasn’t sure if it was going in, so I felt like I had to touch it,” confessed Pulisic on Thursday when Sky Sport Italia asked if Rafael Leao should have been angry at him for ‘stealing’ his goal.

“I have my personal goals and assists, but the most important thing is to win. Of course, in this competition we all want to go to the Final and to win it.”

Rafael Leao clarified his feelings on social media by commenting on Pulisic’s latest Instagram post.

The Portuguese star used three handshake emojis to say he was not angry with the USMNT captain.

Pulisic has nine goals in 36 appearances for Milan this season, while Leao netted nine times in 34 matches.
