Agent Crescenzo Cecere has revealed Ionut Radu “would be very happy” with a move to Parma, as they are currently closing in on a deal with the Inter player.

After losing Luigi Sepe for the next “one to three months”, the Ducali could use a new goalkeeper and everything points in the direction of Inter loanee Radu.

Genoa currently hold some of the cards and Cecere, who is also the Gialloblu defender Bruno Alves’ agent, said Radu hopes to end up at the Ennio Tardini.

“You have to remain balanced until the documents and contracts have been signed,” he told ParmaLive. “At the moment there’s contact with both Genoa and Inter, who owns him, but there are also other goalkeepers around.

“We are working, the player would be happy to come to Parma, but we are still waiting. We all hope to close the deal, we are waiting for it.”

He also revealed that Alves was “happy” to extend his stay with the Crociati.

“The player has had another great season, after the one last year,” he said. “The club wanted to continue the journey for another year, and we are very happy.

“He was one of the first signings for Parma when they returned to Serie A.”

The Ducali are currently seventh in Serie A, only behind Cagliari on goal difference, and they will come up against the Rossoblu this Saturday.
