Stefan Radu has reportedly snubbed a move to Inter and is set to sign a contract extension with Lazio until June 2023.

The contract of the 34-year-old at the Stadio Olimpico was due to expire at the end of the month, but according to Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the Biancocelesti have reached an agreement to extend his stay at the club.

Radu had been in talks with Inter where the Nerazzurri’s new coach Simone Inzaghi hoped to reunite with the Romanian defender.

Radu holds the record for the most appearances in a Lazio shirt with 412 games played.

He joined the Biancocelesti in January 2008 and will remain at the club until June 2023, signing a two-year contract extension.
