Genoa have confirmed that midfielder Ivan Radovanovic will go under the knife for a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his knee.
The 31-year-old Serbia international sustained the injury during last week’s 3-0 victory away to Bologna.
A statement from the club notes Radovanovic will have surgery with a specialist in Lyon tomorrow.
It usually takes five to six months to fully recover from a torn ACL, so it’s safe to say the season is already over for Radovanovic.
