Adrien Rabiot’s mum Veronique reportedly clashed with the families of Kylian Mbappé and Paul Pogba after France’s elimination from UEFA Euro 2020.

Les Blues were knocked out in the Round of 16 by Switzerland on penalties despite entering the final ten minutes of the game with a two-goal lead.

Kylian Mbappé was the only one to miss on the shootout, while Paul Pogba scored France’s third goal but lost the ball, leading to the Swisses’ equaliser.

According to RMC Sport, Rabiot’s mum and agent Veronique didn’t take those two mistakes too well.

In fact, she is reported to have called out Pogba and told Mbappé’s family to “reframe him and make him less arrogant” right after Yann Sommer’s decisive save on the French striker.

Veronique spent around 20 minutes arguing with both players’ families and got into a heated exchange with Mbappé’s mother Fayza Lamari, leaving the relatives of other French players ‘in shock.’

Rabiot joined Juventus as a free agent from PSG in 2019, and his contract at the Allianz Stadium expires in 2023.
