Adrien Rabiot has been reborn under Massimiliano Allegri this season but despite his upswing in form, he’s unlikely to sign a contract renewal with Juventus, reports suggest.

The 27-year-old French midfielder has featured consistently under Allegri this season, only missing matches due to a calf injury last month. In recent weeks Rabiot has proved himself an important part of the Bianconeri squad, scoring a brace in the Champions League win over Maccabi Haifa and netting another brace in the recent 4-0 win over Empoli.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are happy to tie down Rabiot to a new contract but the player’s mother and agent Veronique is unconvinced about the idea and seems unlikely to accept an offer.

The Frenchman’s contract expires with the Bianconeri next summer and he seems set to depart on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Rabiot was close to joining Manchester United in the summer before ultimately deciding to stay in Turin, but now he may be gearing up for a new adventure.
