“It was an important match, the Serie A game showed Inter are far from an easy side to face,” Rabiot told RAI Sport.
Inter had beaten the Old Lady 2-0 in the league just 16 days ago.

“It was a different team performance, we showed that we were at the right level to beat Inter, were solid at the back.
“The tie isn’t over yet, there’s another let to go and that will be even tougher than this one. We have to prove ourselves all over again to secure our place in the Final.”
The second leg is in Turin on February 9.
