Adrien Rabiot is still without a club and more reports are emerging on why he failed to agree terms with Juventus, Milan or teams in Turkey.

The midfielder is 29 years old and has been a free agent since June 30, when his contract with the Bianconeri was allowed to run down.

While he had been in a similar situation a year ago and extended for one more season in Turin, this time it proved the final straw.

Rabiot wage request too much for everyone

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Juventus had offered another two-year contract with the same salary of €7.5m per season net, but he turned it down.

Rabiot had already hoped to get €10m at Manchester United in 2023, a move that fell apart due to those wage demands and commissions.

Milan were in negotiations this summer and made a proposal, but seemingly got tired of waiting for his response.

As a free agent, he is still able to sign for clubs after the transfer deadline, but the interest from Turkey has also waned.

Reports from there suggest that he was asking for a package worth €40m over three years between wages and commission for his mother Veronique, who acts as his agent.

The only place where he is likely to get those figures now is the Saudi Pro League, though it could stall his career for France.

  1. After Icardi and the problems caused by his wife/agent, another player is ruining his career thanks to his mom/agent.
