Former Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot is preparing for a reunion with his former Bianconeri teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, as Al-Nassr of the Saudi Pro League are readying a €20m-per-season contract for the current free agent, according to Wednesday’s reports.
Rabiot wanted in Saudi Arabia
Rabiot has been available as a free agent since the expiry of his Juventus contract at the end of June.
Reports towards the end of the transfer window suggested that Milan were targeting a move for the Frenchman, which would have required moving a few of their own players on first, but the Rossoneri were ultimately unable to make that happen.
Instead, Wednesday’s report suggest that Al-Nassr are preparing to present the player and his mother/agent Veronique with a €20m-per-season contract offer.
Like Milan, Al-Nassr may have to move one of their own players on first in order to make the deal first, as they have already filled the eight allocated slots in their squad for foreign-born players.
Corriere dello Sport suggests that Al-Nassr could also apply for an exemption from the Saudi Pro League in order to bring Rabiot on board.
