The former PSG midfielder had been out of Les Bleus for some time and struggled to make an impact in his first season in Turin.
However, he was considered one of the best performers on the night in their 1-0 Nations League victory in Lisbon against Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal.
“Joining Juventus and having a change of scenery made me grow and I feel a more complete player now, a different person,” Rabiot told Telefoot and RTL.
He had infuriated Didier Deschamps in 2018 when refusing the call-up to be part of the reserves for the World Cup squad, but they put that incident behind them.
“You can see the difference it has made to my performances for France too. I waited patiently for my moment and cleared the air with the coach.
“I am satisfied with the daily work, both on and off the field. I let the critics talk, that means nothing to me, because I know that I love playing for France and come here with pleasure and determination to keep my place.”
