A heated moment occurred between Adrien Rabiot and Roberto Gagliardini in the dying minutes of Juventus’ win over Monza, showing the sparks of tension.

The Bianconeri took an early 1-0 lead at the Stadio Brianteo thanks to the French midfielder and looked to be on track to secure all three points, before Valentin Carboni netted a last-gasp equaliser in the 91st minute.

After Carboni’s goal, Gagliardini was seen celebrating provocatively in the face of an unimpressed Rabiot, who did not respond or react.

In an amusing twist of fate, Rabiot then provided the assist for Federico Gatti’s last second winner, allowing Juventus to snatch all three points just before the final whistle.

The French midfielder decided to respond to Gagliardini on his Instagram story after the match, posting a photo of the incident alongside the caption: “Learn to always stay humble. Because until the referee blows the whistle for the end of the match. Everything is still possible. Remember this.”

Juventus’ victory over Monza allowed them to take the top spot from Inter in the Serie A table, although they could again drop down to second should the Nerazzurri beat Napoli on Sunday evening.
