Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot celebrated his 200th appearance for the club, but it did not last long and he showed fans exactly what the toe injury looked like.
The France international had started the 3-2 win over Frosinone at the Allianz Juventus Stadium in Turin, but had to limp off after just 29 minutes.
The official Juve statement described his injury as ‘a dislocated toe in the right foot’ and that already sounded unpleasant.
Rabiot decided to give fans an inside look – right inside – by showing off his X-Ray on Instagram.
“This is how my 200th game ended today,” he wrote. “Thank you for all your messages.”
Teammate Weston McKennie also went off with an injury, as he dislocated his left shoulder during a sliding tackle.
It remains to be seen if the USMNT man or Rabiot will be fit enough for next week’s match against Napoli.
Juve had been losing 2-1 at home, but equalised through a Dusan Vlahovic brace before the last-gasp Daniele Rugani winner from a tight angle.
