Paris Saint-Germain reportedly approached Adrien Rabiot to explore a possible free transfer for the Juventus midfielder next summer.

The 27-year-old Frenchman was close to a move to Manchester United in the summer, with the Red Devils shoring up around €20m to agree a deal with the Bianconeri. Despite Juventus’ agreement, Rabiot refused to make the move, with suggestions that his mother and agent Veronique was the reason the deal didn’t come off.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Juventus do not plan to renew Rabiot’s contract, certainly not with the €7.5m net per season wages he currently earns in Turin. His contract expires next year and he’s set to depart on a free transfer.

Despite the negative way his time ended in the French capital, PSG reportedly emerged to discuss a possible deal with the Frenchman over the last few days, although it remains to be seen how much they’re willing to offer.

  1. Would be a great relief to see this imposter leave the club after sucking it dry for 3 years for no return.
