Reports say Torino’s Fabio Quagliarella is on the verge of re-joining Sampdoria for €2.7m.

The striker spent the 2006/07 season at Samp and reports emerged last night that he was set to return to the Marassi.

Sky Italia reports that the 33-year-old is currently in the process of signing a contract with the Blucerchiati.

The outlet believes that the deal has been agreed as an initial loan with the obligation to buy after one appearance set at €2.7m.
