Milan have handed full-back Taye Taiwo to Queen’s Park Rangers on a six-month loan, confirmed his agent.
His agent had told Italian media he expected “important developments” sometime today and it seems the breakthrough has arrived.
It was initially believed QPR had agreed a fee to buy Taiwo outright from the Rossoneri, though he needed to agree personal terms and undergo a medical.
However, this evening agent Fabio Parisi wrote on his Twitter feed "Taiwo has just signed a six-month loan with QPR" and posted this picture.
The 26-year-old was a free transfer from Olympique Marseille, but has managed only eight appearances in all competition for Milan.
Taiwo is set to be the first signing for new QPR manager Mark Hughes.
