The second round of group games at the World Cup in Qatar kicks off today, giving a number of Serie A stars the chance to shine on the world stage.

The kick-off times for today’s World Cup games are as follows (UK times): Wales vs Iran (10.00), Qatar vs Senegal (13:00), Netherlands vs Ecuador (16:00) and England vs USA (19:00).

The only Serie A representative in the first World Cup game of the day is Spezia defender Ethan Ampadu, who’ll be hoping to help his Wales side pick up their first victory of the tournament.

The game between Qatar and Senegal involves two players plying their trade in the Italian league, Milan defender Fodé Ballo-Touré and Salernitana forward Boulaye Dia. They’ll be hungry to put some points on the board after their opening loss to the Netherlands.

Atalanta’s Teun Koopmeiners and Inter duo Denzel Dumfries and Stefan de Vrij will all be working to guide Netherlands to a win over Ecuador.

The final game of the day is a blockbuster clash between England and the United States. The lack of call ups to Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori mean no Serie A representatives are in the Three Lions squad. The USMNT contains Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie and Milan full back Sergino Dest.
