Disgraced former Catania President Antonino Pulvirenti is no longer under house arrest, but has been forced to surrender his passport.

The ex-Elefanti patron has admitted attempting to fix five matches in Serie B last season, as part of the ‘Goal Trains’ scandal.

The ex-Elefanti patron has admitted attempting to fix five matches in Serie B last season, as part of the ‘Goal Trains’ scandal.

Pulvirenti had initially been placed under house arrest, but ANSA reports that the restriction has now been lifted.

However, he and former CEO Pablo Cosentino have both been told to surrender their passports, and told to sign in at a local police station four times a week to ensure they don’t flee the country.
