Inter striker Stevan Jovetic will be sidelined for around 10 days with a pulled hamstring and will miss Sunday’s Sampdoria clash.

The Nerazzurri announced on Twitter today that the Montenegrin had an MRI scan which revealed that he had sustained a pulled hamstring in his left leg.

FCInterNews have reported that the player will be assessed in the coming days, but that he’s likely to be out for seven to ten days.

This would mean the forward will miss the Serie A match with Sampdoria and the international break, but should be available again for the Derby d’Italia against Juventus on 18 October.
