Milan are ready to announce the signing of Christian Pulisic from Chelsea and the USMNT international has picked the shirt No.11 at San Siro.

Pulisic underwent medical examinations with Milan on Wednesday before signing his contract with the Rossoneri.

Pictures from Casa Milan show Pulisic’s shirt already up for sale with the No. 11 on its back. Tuttosport newspaper confirms the American winger will wear the No. previously belonging to club legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The other option was the No.22, which was worn by another club legend in the past, Ricardo Kaka.

Milan are expected to confirm Pulisic’s signature on Thursday and officially confirm his shirt No. for 2023-24. He will move to San Siro from Chelsea in a deal worth more than €20m.

The USMNT captain scored 26 goals in 145 appearances with Chelsea, where he arrived in 2019.

He’s Milan’s fourth summer signing after Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Luka Romero and Marco Sportiello.
