Christian Pulisic admits I ‘felt myself again’ at Milan after a couple of ‘difficult’ seasons at Chelsea and confirms the Rossoneri’s target in 2024-25 is to win the Serie A title.

Pulisic spoke to CBS Sports on Saturday night, minutes before the beginning of the Champions League Final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, one of his former clubs.

The USMNT captain first announced the upcoming docuseries on his life and career.

Pulisic speaks about docuseries on his life and career

“I think there are a lot of things that people don’t know about me,” he said.

“I’ve been pretty private for most of my life. I think people will see the difficulties I’ve gone through, including living in Europe, being an American out there, and just about my career. There are a lot of things, but I think it’s going to be interesting.”

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, a former Juventus striker and one of the CBS pundits, asked Pulisic about the USMNT’s goals in the World Cup and Copa America.

“It’s tough to put a label on it. For me, you go in with the mentality of trying to win,” Pulisic replied.

“We are going to do the best we can and hopefully inspire all the Americans watching. We are going there to win. That’s always going to be my goal.

Pulisic: ‘I felt myself again’ at Milan after ‘difficult’ Chelsea seasons

The American ace probably had the best season of his career at Milan, finishing the 2023-24 campaign with 15 goals and 11 assists in 50 matches across all competitions.

The 25-year-old completed a €20m from Chelsea in the summer of 2023.

“It was a difficult couple of seasons for me before this and I was finally given an opportunity and I felt the trust right from the start at Milan,” he admitted.

“I was really excited to hit the ground running and play for such a historic club. It’s nice to feel like myself again and show people I can still play a bit.”

Henry’s final question was whether Milan’s main target for 2024-25 is the Serie A title.

“That’s the goal,” Pulisic confirmed.

“A good season personally feels nice but it’s not what’s important to me. I’m never really satisfied. Hopefully, our team is going to bring a little bit more consistency into next season and I think we have a real chance because we have some really strong players.”
