There is more bad news for Milan, as while Christian Pulisic does not have any lesions, Pierre Kalulu and Marco Pellegrino could be out for some time.

The Rossoneri fumbled a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 away to Napoli in Serie A last night in a game that added another three names to the absentee list.

Pulisic went off at half-time due to a slight adductor twinge, but tests today showed there are no lesions and he should be fine to start the next match.

The news is not so reassuring for the other two who limped off at the Stadio Maradona, both of them defenders.

Kalulu lasted just 18 minutes before leaving the field and a note from the Milan medical staff notes that the lesion to the left thigh is so serious that he requires a specialist consultation.

This is the kind of injury that could even need surgery, so Kalulu is not expected back in 2023.

As for Pellegrino, he only made his debut in the Milan jersey last night as a substitute and hobbled off in the closing stages.

The Argentine defender has been diagnosed with a fracture to the left foot.
