Roma are still looking for right-backs and have a list of candidates, including Marc Pubill of Almeria, Torino’s Raoul Bellanova, Milan captain Davide Calabria and Lorenz Assignon of Rennes.

The Giallorossi have been very active on the transfer market so far this summer, with signings such as Artem Dovbyk and Matias Soulé.

Their next target is going to be a versatile full-back, preferably one who can work on the right and the left when required.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the favourite remains Pubill of Almeria, who just turned 21 and is currently representing Spain at the Olympic Games in Paris.

The right-back has also been linked with Bologna and Newcastle United and only joined Almeria a year ago for €5m from Levante.

Pubill the favourite, followed by Bellanova

Calciomercato.com points more towards Italy international Bellanova, but the €25m asking price could be rather beyond them at this moment.

Their best bet would be to get a loan with option to buy at the end of the season.

Another option is Assignon of Stade Rennais, who is good friends with new Roma signing Enzo Le Fée, but there is competition from Aston Villa.

Calabria was mentioned as a potential part of a package deal to bring Tammy Abraham to Milan, especially after he turned down a move to Galatasaray.
