Napoli are in close contact with PSV as they look to set up a deal for Hirving Lozano, reports detail.

The Partenopei are currently working on welcoming Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Jesper Lindstrom, who will join in a deal worth around €25m total, adding a key reinforcement to Rudi Garcia’s squad.

Lozano has entered the last year of his contract with Napoli and the club are now open to selling him before the end of the transfer window later this week.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, PSV have already submitted an offer for Lozano, but it was deemed too low by Napoli – €10m plus €5m in add-ons. The hope from the Campania capital is that a deal can be agreed for a €15m fixed fee.

A further obstacle for the Eredivisie side is the Mexican winger’s €4.5m net per season wages, far too much for the Dutch club.

Talks between the two clubs are ongoing but in the meantime the MLS are keeping close tabs on Lozano, with some clubs interested in picking him up on a free transfer next summer.
