Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly offered cash plus defender Thilo Kehrer in exchange for Milan Skriniar, but Inter are continuing to demand close to €100m.

The centre-back is the number one choice for Les Bleus and new director of sport Luis Campos, who wants to make the Slovakia international his marquee signing for the summer.

According to Calciomercato.com, the initial €50m offer was rejected, so a new bid for cash plus Kehrer is valued at €60m, but still nowhere near enough.

German international centre-back Kehrer will be 26 in September and made 34 competitive appearances for PSG this term.

Inter are also confident they can use interest from Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur to keep the asking price up at close to €100m.

The Nerazzurri need to balance the books with a big profit from transfer fees by June 30, so are holding out for cash only.

Skriniar’s current contract expires in June 2023, but he has stated repeatedly that he wants to remain at San Siro and there will be no issue signing a new deal.
