PSG risk missing Serie A targets Skriniar and Scamacca

Paris Saint-Germain risk missing out on both Serie A targets, as they won’t meet Inter’s €70m Milan Skriniar asking price and are out-bid for Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca by West Ham.

While PSG have become known for their big spending and lavish salaries, it seems as if they are not ready to break the bank every time.

For weeks they have been in negotiations with Inter for defender Skriniar and Sassuolo for their hitman Scamacca, reportedly agreeing personal terms, but not clinching the deals.

Now there are suggestions both could be slipping out of their grasp.

La Repubblica online edition claims that Inter are not going to reduce their €70m asking price for Skriniar and are more than happy to hold on to him, having already agreed a contract extension.

PSG have offered €55m plus performance-related bonuses and add-ons, which is not enough to sway the Nerazzurri, so could instead look towards Sevilla defender Joules Koundé.

Meanwhile, Sky Sport Italia are confident that West Ham United are on the verge of securing Scamacca, as they are offering close to Sassuolo’s €50m demand, far more than the €30m plus bonuses coming from Paris.
