PSG confirm Marco Verratti is continuing his treatment and will return to group training after the international break.

The Italy international suffered a hip injury during Marseille-PSG on October 24 and will miss Italy’s World Cup qualifying match against Switzerland next week.

He is also expected to sit out PSG’s Champions League clash against Manchester City on November 24.

The Ligue 1 giants have released a medical update ahead of tomorrow’s match against Bordeaux.

“Marco Verratti is continuing his treatment. A return to training is planned after the international break,” an official statement read.

PSG have several stars on the treatment table, including Leo Messi and Sergio Ramos who has yet to make his first appearance with PSG.

– Lionel Messi continued his treatment at the Ooredoo Training Centre this morning for knee and hamstring pains.

– Leandro Paredes continues his rehabilitation and athletic work on the pitch at the Ooredoo Training Centre.

– Sergio Ramos will return with the group next week.

– Rafinha will have 5 days of treatment for pain in the right hip.

– Presnel Kimpembe, who is suffering from a hamstring injury in his left thigh, will undergo treatment for the next 10 days at the Ooredoo Training Centre.

Verratti, 29, has played seven games across all competitions with PSG this season. His contract with the Ligue 1 giants expires in June 2024.

However, he doesn’t seem willing to leave Paris anytime soon. This past October, he revealed that he wants to return to Pescara to end his career.

Verratti has never played a Serie A game in his career. He joined PSG from Pescara in 2012 after obtaining Serie A promotion with his childhood club.
