PSG are reportedly ready to make a new offer for Milan Skriniar and Inter have identified Gleison Bremer and Nikola Milenkovic as possible replacements for the Slovakia international.
The Ligue 1 giants saw a €50m bid rejected earlier this week, but according to Tuttosport and Il Corriere dello Sport, they are ready to submit a new offer for the former Sampdoria centre-back. Inter need to sell one of their stars in the summer to balance the books and are ready to part ways with the defender for €70-80m.
Il Corriere della Sera newspaper confirms that Inter directors expect a new offer from Paris in the coming days.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Skriniar’s priority is to remain at Inter, so much so he has already agreed to sign a €5m-a-year contract extension. However, he is aware of the club’s financial needs and would not stand against a move to Paris. Inter will also listen to offers for Stefan de Vrij, who also sees his current deal expire in 2023.
However, the Netherlands international is three years older than Skriniar and it’s hard to imagine him leaving for more than €15-20m. Bremer and Milenkovic have been linked with a move to the Stadio Meazza if both defenders leave.
Bremer has already reached personal terms with the Nerazzurri, who have yet to agree on the defender’s price tag with Torino. Milenkovic’s agent Fali Ramadani reportedly met club directors in London earlier this week. The Serbia international is open to signing with the Nerazzurri, but Inter and Fiorentina are not on good terms and talks between the two clubs have not begun yet.
