‘PSG not as prestigious as Italians’

Unai Emery admits Paris Saint-Germain ‘need time and patience’ if they are to become as prestigious as Inter, Milan and Juventus.

Over half of Scudetti won since 1898 belong to the trio, as well as several European trophies, and Emery accepted PSG were still some way behind their Serie A counterparts, despite being bankrolled by Qatari millions for the past seven years.

“PSG are a new club with the same number of titles as Lyon,” the Coach said at a Press conference for Wednesday’s Coupe de France semi-final against Caen.

“In order to improve the club’s history, time and patience is needed.”
