According to Il Corriere dello Sport, PSG have sounded out Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly in a meeting with his agent Fali Ramadani.

The 30-year-old wants to leave Napoli and La Gazzetta dello Sport reported earlier this week that the Azzurri had rejected a €30m bid from Manchester United.

Sky Sport Italia confirms the player wants to leave, but deny the Partenopei ever received an offer for the Senegal international.

Perhaps PSG could soon make their move as the defender’s agent, Fali Ramadani, reportedly met the Ligue 1 giants.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, PSG director Leonardo met Ramadani earlier this week to discuss the defender’s potential move to the Parc des Princes.

Koulibaly would partner new PSG signing Sergio Ramos at the back, but Mauricio Pochettino could also use a three-man defence with Ramos, Koulibaly and Marquinhos.

Napoli haven’t yet received an official bid for the Senegal international who joined the Stadio Maradona in a €7m deal from Genk in 2014.

“Koulibaly is on the market, but I’d like him to stay. I have never worked with anyone so good, not just as a player, but also as a man,” Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti said after Napoli friendly match against Pro Vercelli on Saturday.

Spalletti: ‘Koulibaly is on the market, but…’
