The Athletic and L’Equipe claim PSG have offered €50m for Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund while Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is pushing to sign the Denmark international.
PSG have officially joined the Red Devils in the race to sign the 20-year-old who has already agreed on personal terms with the Premier League giants.
The Athletic and L’Equipe report PSG have offered €50m for Hojlund. Atalanta have set their asking price at €70m, but the Ligue 1 champions seem unwilling to raise their offer and would walk away if their bid is not accepted.
This means Manchester United are still leading the race to sign the 20-year-old although an agreement with Atalanta has not yet been reached.
The Red Devils have sent an opening bid worth €50m plus €10m add-ons, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Red Devils suffered a 2-0 loss against Real Madrid on Thursday night, prompting Ten Hag to claim he “absolutely” needs a new centre forward for 2023-24.
