Paris Saint-Germain have a long list of possible options after Kylian Mbappe’s departure and reports suggest Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is a top candidate.

The 23-year-old Georgian winger has struggled to show his best in the Campania capital this season, suffering from frustration and low confidence amidst the team’s various issues on and off the pitch. As such, he’s scored just six goals and provided five assists across 33 games this term.

Kvaratskhelia is still on the same initial contract he signed as a relative unknown from Dinamo Batumi in the summer of 2022, earning just €1.2m net per season including add-ons. His agent is pushing for a new deal but Aurelio De Laurentiis is in no rush for the time being, hoping to delay to the summer.

As reported by Gazzetta dello Sport via Calciomercato.com, PSG have been drawing up a shortlist of candidates to replace Mbappe in the summer and on the list is Kvaratskhelia, joining his Napoli teammate Victor Osimhen and Milan star Rafael Leao among other options.

Kvaratskhelia is contracted to Napoli until June 2027 and may not be easy to pry from the Campania capital this summer, with De Laurentiis being a notoriously difficult negotiator.
