Paris Saint-Germain have made a final desperate attempt to convince Paul Pogba of a move as he nears a free transfer to Juventus.

The 29-year-old French midfielder is leaving Manchester United on a free transfer this month after six fairly miserable years in the North West of England. Pogba failed to fully convince the United fans and pundits alike, leading to much criticism across his six-year stay. He’s now set for a much-anticipated return to Juventus, a club he found much more success at.

As reported by La Repubblica, PSG recently offered Pogba a contract with a salary worth €13.5m net per season plus add-ons, significantly higher than the deal agreed with Juventus.

The Frenchman is still unconvinced about the move, however, and hasn’t reacted much to the offer. He could sign a contract with the Bianconeri as early as next week, ready to return to the club where he shined most.
