Paris Saint-Germain have denied reports they’ll bring in former Juventus director Roberto Bettega to replace Leonardo.

Newspaper L’Equipe claimed this morning that Bettega was being lined up as their new general manager after Leonardo tended his resignation as of September.

“No, absolutely not,” current PSG director general Jean-Claude Blanc told TuttoMercatoWeb.

“The hypothesis of seeing Bettega as our transfer man is not possible.”

Bettega was part of the famous ‘Triade’ in charge of Juventus from 1994 to 2006, along with Luciano Moggi and Antonio Giraudo.

He is now 62 years old and has worked with Blanc at Juve in the post-Calciopoli years in Serie B, then again in 2010 as Vice-Director General.
