Paris Saint-Germain coach Christophe Galtier wants a new striker to play alongside Kylian Mbappe and one player the Parisians are fans of is Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic, reports suggest.

The 22-year-old Serbian striker joined the Bianconeri in January of this year from Fiorentina in a deal worth around €80m, putting pen to paper on a four-and-a-half year contract.

Vlahovic had a decent start to life in Turin, netting nine goals in his first six months with the club, but this season he’s been an emblem of the team’s attacking struggles, often seen frustrated with the limited service provided to him.

As reported by Tuttosport, Galtier wanted a new striker in the summer but PSG failed to provide, leaving him hungry for a new forward in the coming transfer windows. The Ligue 1 giants are big fans of Vlahovic in particular, but it would be incredibly difficult to pry the Serb from Juventus’ clutches.

There’s almost no chance that the Bianconeri will let the 22-year-old leave Turin in the January transfer window and it would take a huge offer to secure his signature next summer. Despite the difficulties of a possible deal, the interest is still there, quietly rumbling on in the background.

  1. He is still young and he must change course. Under Flinstone Max, he does not even know what the ball is anymore and like kryptonite the ancient one has drained him of all his powers. Only Roberto King Carlos Sandro and brick layer Danilo are immune to such instructions.
