Reports are indicating that Paris Saint-Germain are planning to hijack Milan’s move for Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.

The player has reportedly already agreed personal terms with the Rossoneri after Vice-President Adriano Galliani met with his representative Kia Joorabchian on Monday evening, whilst it is also understood that the current Serie A champions have also sent off a formal proposal to the English side.

However, it is thought that the Qatari-owned French club, who are coached by former Rossonero Leonardo, are ready to come in with a stronger offer. Where Milan are after a six-month, low-cost loan followed by a rumoured20m fee to secure the player on a full-time basis next summer, PSG are apparently ready with an immediate €25-30m offer to take Tevez permanently in January.

Tamin Al-Thani, who heads the Qatar Investment Authority that own PSG, is a cousin of Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed.
