According to Tuttosport, PSG are looking to Milan and Inter to strengthen their squad as Rafael Leao is one of the candidates to replace Leo Messi, while Milan Skriniar remains on the club’s radars for January.

Leao has a contract until June 2024 and the Rossoneri are in talks with his agent Jorge Mendes over a new deal.

The Portugal winger has attracted interest from a number of top clubs in Europe, including Chelsea and Manchester City but Milan are unwilling to sell for less than his €150m release clause.

According to Tuttosport, PSG could even trigger his clause in the summer if Leao doesn’t extend with Milan and if Messi leaves the club. The ex-Lille starlet is seen as the ideal replacement for the Argentinean superstar.

The Ligue 1 giants are still interested in Inter defender Milan Skriniar and the next few weeks will be decisive for the future of the Slovakia international at San Siro.

Skriniar had agreed on €9m-a-year deal in Paris last summer, but Inter refused to sell for less than €70m.

With Skriniar’s contract expiring in June 2023, the Serie A giants will sit down with the player’s representatives after tomorrow’s game with Barcelona, trying to reach an agreement over a new deal.

If the Nerazzurri fail in their attempt, they would be forced to sell Skriniar in January to avoid seeing him leave for nothing at the end of the season and PSG remain in pole position to secure his signature.

4 thought on “PSG eye Chelsea target Leao to replace Messi and could sign Skriniar in January”
  1. PSG are parasites who continually pillage the Serie A of its best players – hopefully these transfers don’t happen and I neither support Milan nor Inter. We want the Serie A to remain as strong as possible.

  2. Stopped reading at “According to Tuttosport” …

    Won`t even bother reading Tuttosh1t articles 😉

  3. Utter bull.

Messi plays on the right, Leao can’t. A replacement for Neymar is plausible but as things stand if they sign Leao they will have three left wingers (best position) in Neymar, Mbappe and Leao.
