Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in making a move for talented midfielder Ivan Ilic and they’re ready for initial talks with Hellas Verona.

The 21-year-old Serbian midfielder is one of the most exciting midfield prospects in Serie A, shining with the Gialloblu following his arrival from Manchester City’s youth system. The Premier League giants purchased Ilic in July 2017 from Red Star in a deal worth around €3m and sold him to Hellas Verona last summer for €7.5m.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Ilic’s strong two-year spell with Verona has seen him attract the attention of a number of top clubs around Europe, and now PSG have entered the fray. The 21-year-old’s agents are in Milan and will discuss their client’s future with Hellas Verona soon.

Maurizio Setti, the Gialloblu’s president, was also in the Lombardy capital yesterday and talks are expected to be set up between the two clubs soon.

PSG are big fans of Ilic but it would seemingly take around €15-20m to secure the 21-year-old talent’s signature.

  1. he’s worth more than 15-21m euros, if you can lecce keep him – he looks very impressive, if you have to sell and he wants out – then sell for at least 30m euros or add in a 10% future selling fee into his transfer contract with PSG.

Napoli fans would you agree he be a good fit for you lot if fabian ruiz leaves – especially for the future.

Clubs like lazio/roma/atalanta – should be going for talent like this to progress – shame that serie sells constantly to abroad teams
