Gianluigi Donnarumma will miss today’s Paris Saint-Germain match with Stade de Reims due to a calf injury, but should still be part of the Italy get-together.

The shot-stopper has been left out of the PSG squad for this evening’s Ligue 1 match at the Parc des Princes.

It is good timing for PSG, because Keylor Navas has just returned to the squad and takes back the gloves.

Despite the calf injury, Donnarumma should still be part of Roberto Mancini’s Italy squad for next week’s get-together at the Coverciano training ground.

They will not play an official friendly, it is just a three-day ‘stage’ so Mancini can touch base with his squad and see potential new players ahead of the World Cup play-offs in March.

The Azzurri will face North Macedonia, then either Portugal or Turkey for a place at Qatar 2022.

It’s reported Mario Balotelli is one of the players who will earn a recall to the Nazionale for this get-together after his good form in Turkey with Adana Demirspor.
