Napoli defender Kim Min-jae is not only a strong summer transfer target for Manchester United, but reports in France claim that PSG are also in the running.

RMC Sport maintain that Paris Saint-Germain see him as one of the reinforcements for their back line, having already agreed terms with Inter’s Milan Skriniar for when he becomes a free agent on July 1.

The centre-back has been a revelation in his debut Serie A season, helping the Partenopei win the Scudetto and reach the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time.

He has a release clause that is valid from the summer of 2024 for circa €50m, but Manchester United seem eager to anticipate that and pay closer to €60m in order to get him earlier.

At the same time, Napoli are trying to negotiate a different contract with Kim Min-jae that will remove or significantly increase that release clause.

Kim had been close to Stade Rennais last summer before choosing Napoli in his move from Fenerbahce, at a cost of just €18m.
