Sky Sport Italia reports PSG have made an opening bid for Arsenal target Gianluca Scamacca, but Sassuolo want more than €35m.
The Italy international has emerged as the Ligue 1 giants’ priority to strengthen their attack in 2022-23.
Sky Sport Italia reports that PSG have had a €35m bid rejected by Sassuolo who want €50m for the former Genoa loanee.
The 23-year-old scored 16 goals in 36 appearances with the Neroverdi last season and has become a regular member of Roberto Mancini’s Italy. He is seen as the heir to Ciro Immobile but has failed to find the net in his first six senior appearances with La Nazionale.
Arsenal have also been linked with signing Scamacca, but there are no reports of an offer from North London. Inter and Milan are looking elsewhere as the Nerazzurri are in talks for Paulo Dybala and Romelu Lukaku, while the Rossoneri may not sign another centre-forward after securing the services of Divock Origi from Liverpool.

Overlated
PSG won’t be a good fit.
Arsenal should be serious with this windows transfer
He will warm the bench at psg.
He is better off playing for a smaller club and getting minutes.
Also he is totally over rated.
