Marcus Thuram has had an excellent start to the season at Inter and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the striker’s value is already in the region of €70m.

The French striker joined the Nerazzurri on a free transfer last summer, but there were more clubs interested in his signature. Milan had spoken to Thuram’s entourage and the same did PSG and Bayern Munich even if the French and German giants were ‘not entirely convinced’ about the potential of the 26-year-old, reports Gazzetta.

Friday’s printed edition of the pink paper on page 12 claims both PSG and Bayern have regrets now as Thuram’s value has already reached €70m.

The former Gladbach star has scored six goals in the opening 19 games across all competitions this season and is the player with the most assists in Serie A so far, with six.

The French striker has immediately become a regular starter under Simone Inzaghi and seems perfectly in sync with his strike partner Lautaro Martinez, the current Serie A leading scorer.

Thuram has signed a contract until June 2028 at the Stadio Meazza.

Because he was free they weren’t interested. They only look if they are 50m plus
